ICAI SPMT Tests Suspended from October 11 to 20, 2026; Slot Booking to Resume October 21

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that the Self-Paced Online Module Tests (SPMT) will not be conducted from 11th to 20th October 2026.

According to ICAI, the tests are being paused due to maintenance and upgradation of the SPMT portal software.

The slot booking for SPMT tests will resume from October 21, 2026, onwards. Students planning to appear for the SPMT tests are advised to take note of the revised schedule.

The Self-Paced Module Test (SPMT) is a computer-based assessment system introduced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) under its revised education and training scheme.

This is the compulsory examination phase of Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) which students have to clear after clearing their CA Inter exams and before appearing for their CA Final examinations.
